SI PASS

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is utilized in higher-education institutions worldwide to support students in historically difficult courses. Through peer-assisted study sessions (PASS), SI uses peer learning to increase student success and retention without reteaching or remediation of course materials.

By working with the SI PASS office/supervisor, faculty members who teach selected classes help identify students who can lead PASS sessions. These student leaders work with participants who opt into PASS sessions.
