Research or Teaching Interests
Jessica Brooks is a broadly trained clinical psychologist whose research interests bridge the areas of cognitive and social-emotional development. Her research focuses on development of normal and abnormal patterns of behavior and emotion regulation in response to traumatic experiences, high-conflict, violent environments, and mechanisms that explain risk and resilience in the face of these environments. Current work involves interventions to promote optimal development and emotion regulation.
