Expertise & Research Interests
- Dr. Lewis is primarily interested in providing clear and capable statistical advising and consulting to any population of researchers or any area of research. All random behavior that is studied will display similarity of measurement, variability of measurement, and relative location of measurement along some continuum. All research questions will typically include some form of a research verb associated with the actions of describing behavior, comparing behavior, estimating measures of behavior, relating or predicting multiple behaviors or modeling or fitting behaviors to some prescribed model or pattern. Dr. Lewis is interested in helping the researcher understand the simplicity of the foundation of conducting valid research regardless of the context. Dr. Lewis is also contextually interested in research involving Academic Readiness, Cognitive Muscle Memory, Implicit Memory, Mindset Theory, Cognitive Emotional Regulation and the effect of Dopamine Surges related to academic performance.
