Let’s Teach – Faculty Remote Teaching Support
Overview - VSU Office of Distance Education
VSU is planning for remote instructional delivery due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis. According to guidance provided by the Department of Education regarding the crisis, distance education methods of delivery may be implemented by institutions. Methods of delivery are not limited to online instruction via the Learning Management System (LMS). However, the LMS is preferred due to record-keeping abilities. Additional options are the use of email, phone conferencing, web conferences, etc. to communicate and receive student submissions regularly and assess mastery of course learning outcomes. The Let’s Teach initiative provides training to face-to-face delivery faculty to update their courses to implement fully remote instruction.
This page provides faculty members with resources to support the university’s effort and just-in-time training resources.
