Full Bio

Dr. Junsang Lim is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Virginia State University. He earned his Ph.D.
in Marketing from the University of Alabama and has been teaching at VSU since 2007. His research
interests include consumer behavior, digital marketing, and online customer reviews, with a particular
focus on how consumers make decisions and respond to marketing strategies in digital environments.
His work has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals and contributes to a better
understanding of consumer responses in today’s technology-driven marketplace. Dr. Lim teaches a
variety of undergraduate courses, including Principles of Marketing, Integrated Marketing
Communications, Advertising, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Channels, and Digital Marketing Analytics,
as well as an MBA course in Data Analytics. In his teaching, he emphasizes the application of analytical
tools and emerging technologies to solve real-world marketing problems. He is dedicated to helping
students develop practical, data-driven skills and preparing them for successful careers in today’s
evolving marketing landscape.
