Jonathan Fasse is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and Adjunct Professor for Virginia State University (VSU). Jonathan also works full-time for the Department of Veterans Affairs caring for the homebound and most vulnerable veterans.While in the US Navy, Jonathan served in multiple countries, completing various mission objectives such as counter-narcotics, disaster relief, and overseas deployments on multiple carriers. After serving in the military, Jonathan went on to acquire his Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) with the goal of finding ways to serve and advocate for veterans. Jonathan has clinical experience as a social worker and mental health therapist working with virtually every population in both the private and public sectors and in inpatient and outpatient settings. Jonathan has worked with patients of all ages and in multiple settings including office, hospital, school, and in-home. Jonathan has experience practicing both as an independent practitioner and on clinical teams. However, the work that has been the most fulfilling for Jonathan, has been working for the VA within the home-based primary care team where he is committed to improving the lives of his fellow service members.
