Dr. McCall has received many professional, athletic and academic awards. Dr. McCall has also worked at Central State Hospital as a Forensic Psychologist, and owns a group for dually diagnosed male’s ages 12-17 years old. Dr. McCall has over 50 publications to include dealing with the death of child, suicide prevention, the warning signs of childhood drug use, and kids behind bars during Christmas time. He currently is writing two books (From the Field to the Classroom and Delayed Justice). In addition, he has co-authored a psychology textbook (Introduction to Psychology: Guiding young Minds). Dr. McCall has been in the education, corrections, and mental health field undefinedover 30 years. Dr. McCall’s research interest is studying mental illnesses in the African American community and the school to prison pipeline controversy. Dr. McCall is very active in the community as a coach for football, basketball, baseball and a mentor for at risk youth. undefined
