Research and teaching interests:

• Dr. Sutherland has received training in EMDR and DBT and has worked in the mental health field since 2016. Dr. Sutherland's interests are in trauma, anxiety disorders, disordered eating patterns, substance use disorders, and psychological assessments. Dr. Sutherland has worked with adolescents with severe mental health concerns as well as adults with varying levels of acuity.
