Chandrashekar D. Challa is an associate professor of information systems at Virginia State University. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and his research interests include cybersecurity education, cybersecurity assessment, artificial intelligence in teaching, cybersecurity, and database design and management. His teaching and research expertise encompass enterprise resource planning in the classroom, project management and PMP topics, cybersecurity and AI, as well as Gen Z and Bloom’s taxonomy. He is passionate about teaching and often invites industry executives to the school to share their knowledge with students. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Kakatiya University in India, an MBA in marketing from the Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Delhi, India, and a Ph.D. in information systems from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). He is certified in Security+ and has served as the past president of SEINFORMS and SEDSI. He believes in the saying, “Where Your Attention Goes, That’s Where Your Energy Flows.”
