Antwone Vass serves as the Equipment Manager and Department Logistics Coordinator for the Virginia State University Department of Music. A native of Durham, North Carolina, Mr. Vass is an alumnus of North Carolina Central University. He brings a wealth of experience in inventory management and logistics, having previously served as a procurement analyst for Strata Solar—consistently ranked among the top utility-scale solar developers and EPC providers in the nation.

His background also includes tenure as the Equipment Manager for the Duke University Athletic Bands under the direction of Mr. Jeff Au, where he honed his operational and organizational expertise within collegiate music programs. Mr. Vass is an active member of both Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity, Inc. and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, reflecting his enduring commitment to the musical arts and service to the music-band community.
