Board of Visitors Meetings April 23-24, 2026

The Virginia State University (VSU) Board of Visitors will meet Thursday-Friday, April 23-24, 2026, in the Gateway Dining & Events Center located on the campus at 2804 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.

Board of Visitors committee meetings will be held throughout the day as listed below. These meetings are open to constituent attendance and will not be livestreamed. Public comment will not be permitted.

  • 9:00 a.m.        Academic and Student Affairs Committee
  • 11:15 a.m. Facilities and Finance Committee
  • 1:30 p.m.        Institutional Advancement Committee
  • 2:45 p.m.        Audit and Compliance Committee
  • 3:15 p.m. Personnel, Compensation and Governance Committee

In addition, Rector Victor K. Branch will host a Rector’s Dinner on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Delta Hotel by Marriott, located at 401 East Roslyn Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.

Friday, April 24, 2026 

  • 9:00 a.m. -  Full Board

Friday, April 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., the Full Board will convene at the Gateway Dining & Events Center for a meeting, which will be available via live stream. There will not be an opportunity for public comment at the meeting.
