The VSU Women’s LeadHERship Institute (WLI) is a sanctuary for growth, empowerment, and purpose, dedicated to equipping women with the tools, confidence, and community they need to lead with vision and impact. Through innovative leadership development, transformative learning experiences, and intentional engagement, WLI creates spaces where women can build resilience, amplify their voices, and lead with authenticity.

Founded at Virginia State University by Dr. Tia A. Minnis, WLI is more than a program; it is a movement to redefine leadership as inclusive, empathetic, and transformative. By honoring the legacies of women who paved the way and investing in the leaders of today, WLI is shaping the future of leadership for generations to come.
