Information Logistics Technology
The Bachelor of Science program in Information Logistics Technology seeks to prepare students through educational opportunities that are designed to produce professionals capable of managing projects, products, and processes across many business, industry, government, and educational organizations.
The program has been aligned to complement the needs of a growing supply chain workforce by providing logistics technology training to improve the overall quality and productivity of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the nation and beyond. Graduates are expected to be leaders in the logistics industry by using innovative technologies for high productivity and quality of services.
Core areas of the program will prepare students to obtain careers that involve managerial decision-making, advanced analytics, inventory management, acquisition, and enterprise planning. Students from other degree programs seeking to obtain training in this fast growing area can also consider minoring in our Information Logistics Technology program. The minor requires an additional 18 credit hours of subject-area study, but can be integrated into your current degree program.
