Licensure Track
For those seeking licensure as an Administrator for PK-12 schools at the school or central office level.
M. Ed./MS-Administration & Supervision (36 hours)
The Master of Education or Master of Science degree requires 36 hours of courses, including an internship and an oral and written comprehensive examination or a thesis. All graduate school and program requirements must be met prior to admission. Candidates must successfully complete the SLLA, with a minimum score of 165, prior to graduation.
Non-Licensure Track
For those seeking a master degree in leadership, but do not desire licensure as a school leader.
M.Ed.-Educational Administration & Supervision-Organizational Leadership (30 hours)
Concentration Areas: Teacher Leadership, Pre-School Leadership, Community Leadership, Special Education Leadership, School Management Leadership, Interdisciplinary Studies Leadership.
This M.Ed. program is designed to enable students to acquire knowledge and develop competencies that will make them effective leaders at any level of an organization. All candidates will take 21 hours of core curriculum and 9 within one of the concentration areas.
