Education Support Specialist III
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will assist with the coordination and planning of Orientation and various other programs, activities, receptions, and field events that enhance the Admissions Office services; will provide advisement to new students as they transition to college; will assist with development of Orientation program; will assist with online and in-person registration of freshmen and transfer students; will maintain electronic filing system; and assist with weekly quality control of Banner and Ellucian Recruit.
An equivalent combination of training, education, and work experience is required to successfully perform the work; must have the ability to maintain accurate records in a database; must have considerable knowledge of office practices and procedures; must have knowledge and experience using a Student Information System or CRM such as Banner, PeopleSoft, Ellucian Recruit, Slate, etc.; must have knowledge and experience using Banner, Ellucian Recruit, and BDM; must have the ability to set priorities and have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; must have ability to work independently with little supervision; must have extensive demonstrated experience using MS Office Suite, e.g., Outlook, Excel and MS Word; must have ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures; must have demonstrated ability to compose and edit correspondence and reports; and must have experience working with the public.
