Admission

Student seeking admission into the Teacher Education program at VSU must complete an application and meet the following requirements:

2.5 cumulative GPA
C or above in all professional education and content area coursework
Passing scores on the Praxis I assessment
Successful interview with the Admission and Retention Committee with no dispositional issues noted

The Virginia State University Professional Education Unit has identified the following dispositions for undergraduate candidates:
