Mission

Industrial Education and Technology has a rich tradition dating back to the early 1900's. The mission is to promote and deliver quality, competitive, and challenging academic programs in industrial technology, technology education, and vocational-industrial education. Programs are designed to meet the needs of its students to the extent that they will become productive citizens in a challenging and ever changing society. Also, in-service training, technical update, and advanced courses, seminars, and graduate study are offered. We welcome and extend our resources to all who strive for academic excellence.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

To provide fundamental theories and practical experience for students pursuing careers as technologists in drafting/design and electronic technology.
To prepare students to become teachers of vocational-industrial education subjects in high schools, vocational-technical centers, and government establishments.
To prepare students with experiences to make them knowledgeable of recent developments in the industrial and technological fields.
To prepare students who desire to pursue advance study with strong academic backgrounds to enhance their opportunities for success in graduate education.
To meet the general educational course requirements for the Bachelor of Science Degree.
