Work Control Center

To request maintenance or repair services from the Facilities Management Department, a work request must be submitted to the Work Control Center (WCC).  Except in emergencies, all requests must be submitted via the Building Manager.  Work requests may be submitted by any of the following methods:

  1. Send an email to "Workorder Workorder"
  2. Send a fax to 524-6519
  3. Hand deliver a workorder request to the Physical Plant building, Room 25
Emergency response is available 24 hours a day and may be called in by anyone.
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Emergencies are situations that are hazard to life, health, property and which need to be corrected as soon as possible.  This is work needed to provide or restore adequate security to facility, eliminate hazards, or to protect valuable property.  Emergencies include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Fire, smoke, burning odor
  • Burst or leaking pipes
  • Clogged, constantly running or overflowing sinks, showers and toilets
  • Loss of heat or air conditioning to an entire building
  • Loss of power or water to a building
  • Elevator malfunction or failure
  • Broken doors, windows or locks
  • Fire detection system damage or malfunction
  • Roof leaks
  • Fallen Trees
  • Broken Limbs
  • Broken Glass (grounds)
  • Sudden Structure Failure
  • Broken Glass (window/door)
  • GasLeak
  • Water Leaks, Building/Floor
  • Power Failure/Outage within Building
  • Steam/Condensate Leak in Building
  • Life Safety Systems Malfunction/Failure
Upon completion of all work orders, the Building Manager must sign the Work Order Form as being completed to his/her satisfaction. The Work Order Form also serves as a Customer Survey Form to express customer satisfaction with the response and quality of work. We read the feedback and make the necessary adjustments.
