Tierney Rock to Receive NAACP/GSA Image Award

Virginia State University's Tierney Rock, a member of the Lady Trojan basketball team, has been selected to receive the VSU NAACP and GSA 3rd Annual Black Heritage Ball Image Award.

Rock, who is averaging 8.9 point per game for the Lady Trojans, will receive the award at 7 p.m. on February 19 in the Jones Dining Hall on the VSU campus.

Virginia State University's women's basketball team is currently ranked third in the Atlantic Region of the NCAA and will play Bowie State University on February 4 in Daniel Gym.
