VSU Rocks the WAU Shock 99-45

Virginia State University's Tierney Rock led VSU with 15 points as the Lady Trojans placed four players in double figures and downed Washington Adventist University 99-45 on November 19 in Takoma Park, Md.
Rock hit five of nine shots from the field and went 5-for-5 from the free throw line.
VSU's Rhon'Neisha Taylor scored 14 points while Nia Thompson added 12 points and eight rebounds. VSU's Ashley Whitaker also scored 10 points in the win.
The Lady Trojans put up 82 shots from the field in the game, hitting on 37 field goals (45.1%).
Washington Adventist was led by Kayla Harrison's 15 points.
The win raised VSU's record to 2-0 on the season while Washington Adventist fell to 0-1. It was also Washington Adventist's 27th straight loss.
VSU now travels to Raleigh, N.C., to face Saint Augustine's College on Saturday, November 21.
