VSU LANDS TWO ON COSIDA ALL-DISTRICT ACADEMIC TEAM

Virginia State University's Dominique Hargrove (left) and James Pratt (right) were named to the All-District Academic Football Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America, CoSIDA announced on November 5.

To be eligible for inclusion on the team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or above and carry at least a 3.3 cumulative grade point average.

Hargrove, a graduate student defensive back from Richmond, Va., is majoring in Sport Management and carries a 4.0 GPA.

Pratt, a sophomore defensive lineman from Alexandria, Va., is majoring in Accounting and carries a 3.3 GPA.

Both student-athletes' names will now go on the national Academic All-America ballot.

Pratt and Hargrove were the only CIAA student-athletes to make the All-District Team.
