Nikkisha Walker Named to CIAA All-Rookie Team

Virginia State University's Nikkisha Walker has been named to the 2009 CIAA All-Rookie Volleyball Team, the CIAA announced on November 3.

The 5-9 outside hitter from Gainesville, Va., was 10th in the CIAA with an average of 0.57 service aces per set, and led the Lady Trojans with 162 kills in 2009.

VSU will play Saint Augustine's College in the opening round of the CIAA Volleyball Championship Tournament beginning on November 6 in Hampton, Va.
