Richmond Revolution Signs Seven Former Trojans

RICHMOND, VA.: SportsQuest and the Richmond Revolution announced on October 20 that they have officially signed 27 players to their roster for the 2010 season, including LB/DE Yuri Norrell (above).

A roster of 45 can be carried into training camp, with a cut down to 21 active players by the time the season starts. Previously announced players for the Revolution honored their verbal commitments and signed their player contracts as well. The signings took place at the Richmond Revolution signing party held Thursday, October 15th, at Big Al's Sports Bar in Richmond.

Joining the Revolution are 27 players, all with a connection to Richmond and Virginia. Seven players signed from Virginia State University including LB/RB Kevin Coles, OG Brandon Grier, WR Anthony Hailstock, DB Pierre Lee, LB/DE Yuri Norrell, RB Travis Valentine and the previously committed WR Damon "Redd" Thompson.

The Revolution will play in the Indoor Football League (IFL) and will play their home games in the Arthur Ashe Center in Richmond, Va., and are scheduled to begin play in March, 2010.
