VSU Downs Bowie State 3-1 on Senior Night

Virginia State University's Nikkisha Walker had 15 kills while teammate Brooke Wilson added 10 more kills as the Lady Trojans downed Bowie State University 22-25, 25-19, 25-9, 25-14 on October 21 in Daniel Gym in Ettrick, Va.

It was the home finale for the Lady Trojans, who said good-bye to seniors Dealisa Hildebrand (#9) and Reneisha Hill (#3).

Hill had 32 assists in the match while Brittany Pittman had 13 defensive digs.

Bowie State was led by Breaun Garner's six kills.

The win raised VSU's record to 9-13 overall and secured second place in the CIAA Eastern Division for the Lady Trojans.

VSU travels to Lincoln University, Pa., on October 24 to face the Lions of Lincoln University in the regular-season finale.
