Trojan tennis Falls From #7 To #10

Virginia State University's men's tennis team is currently ranked #10 in the Atlantic Region of the NCAA released on April 21. In the previous weeks, VSU was ranked #7 in the region.

VSU FALL TO JCSU in semifinals

Virginia State University's seniors Daron Jack (above) and teamate John Lanier picked up one of two Trojan wins in a doubles competition, but VSU fell to JCSU 5-4 at Virginia State Tennis Complex on April 16. Also in the semifials, Harrison Gaskins collected the other win for the Trojans.

The Virginia State University men's tennis team, which went to the NCAA Tournament last year, has begun spring drills.  The Trojans are on the courts every day in preparation for their season opener on February 20 against Morgan State University in Baltimore, Md.
