VSU COMES UP SHORT IN FINALS TO SHAW
Virginia State University's womens tennis team battled Shaw University in the finals of the 2010 CIAA Spring Sports. The Lady Trojans came up short losing 5-2 to Shaw at the Virginia State Tennis Complex. Asia Thomas picked up VSU's only win in singles competiton as she scored 6-0, 6-2. The dynamic duo of Shakira Norville and Alexandria McCray won their doubles competition 8-2 for VSU.
