The complete list of 2012 Signees at Virginia State is complete. Head coach Andrew Faison and the Trojans announced the signing of 13 high school and college transfers. Overall, the 13 signees included (5) offensive lineman, (4) defensive lineman, (2) linebackers, (1) defensive back, and (1) running back.

Trojans Spring Football Game Set for Wednesday Night
Virginia State’s football team will conclude their 2012 Spring Practice with a “Orange-vs-Blue” Spring Scrimmage held in Rogers Stadium on Wednesday, April 11th at 7:00pm.
Virginia State’s football team topped all other football squads in the CIAA with a total team GPA of 2.8. The Trojans finished in second place in the CIAA Northern Division and showed balance in both athletics and academics with this achievement.
Virginia State University has released its 2012 football schedule that features Norfolk State University coming from the MEAC conference, Benedict College coming from the SIAC conference, and West Liberty State University coming from WVIAC conference. The Trojans will host five home games this season.
