Duties and Responsibilities: Highly effective teaching of a full academic load, participate in scholarly endeavors (including research and publication and active participation in professional organizations); serve as academic advisor; and participate on departmental, school and university committees. 

Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education along with a demonstrated ability to pursue scholarly activities. Applicant must have a Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or a closely related field. Ability to teach courses in Manufacturing Engineering is required. Specialization in automation with expertise in applying computational tools to materials processing is a desire. The following will be given additional consideration and are desirable: experience with sponsored research and demonstrated ability to support the ABET continuous improvement process. The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds.   Excellent oral and written communications skills in English are required.
