Schedule for Gender Today
(Up to 2 presentations each class period. Each student signs up TWICE)
Twice during the course of the semester each student will be asked to give a brief presentation on examples of "gender today" (including examples of gender stereotypes of men or women, and their effects on adult and children’s conduct and thinking). These examples can come from personal experiences, from accounts you heard from others, from what you have read somewhere, or any other source. All you need to do is present the example and tell the class what you think this particular case of gender stereotyping means, and how and why it is important. (10% of total grade)
