VSU Athletic Boosters Cookout 2008
The Virginia State University Athletic Boosters held their annual cookout at the Booster House in Ettrick, Va., on June 21. The Boosters heard from VSU Athletic Director Peggy Davis, as wel as head football coach Andrew Faison, head men's basketball coach Anthony Collins and head women's tennis and volleyball coach Dr. Linda Person. The Boosters also honored Jona McKee by unveiling a plaque and renaming the Booster House in his honor. McKee was President of the Boosters for 41 years and was inducted into the CIAA Hall of Fame in April. |
