Dr. Stein was formerly a Professor of Psychology at Longwood University, where he served for twenty-two years. He is a Diplomate as a Forensic Examiner Psychologist. Dr. Stein did his training with the Virginia State police, where he completed the qualifications in critical incident responding, crisis intervention, hostage negotiations, homicide investigations, gang investigations, and domestic terrorism. He is considered one of the leading experts for profiling rampage school shooters, and in tactical responses to school shootings.
