Facilities

   Classrooms: We recognise that the teaching environment is an important ingredient of learning and the overall student experience. Therefore, our classes are equipped with state-of-the-art instructional facilities such as overhead projectors, white-boards and comfortable furniture, conducive for learning.

   Library: Students have access to the James Hugo Johnston Memorial Library, located in the center of the campus. The library contains monographs, periodicals and newspapers, microforms, and government publications. The Library is a selective depository for United States publications and receives selected Virginia government publications. The Library Media Center houses videos, CDs, audiotapes, musical scores and other media that enhance course offerings. In addition, our library offers Assistive Technology Lab equipped with a Kurzweil machine, a Voyager Reader and large print software for the visually impaired is also available.   Computer lab: Our students' state-of-the-art computer lab offers a comfortable educational atmosphere.

  Printers: In line with our commitment to making learning comfortable for our students, they are provided with printers.

  Vans: Two 15-seater vans are available in the department and often used for students' field trips, excursions, workshops and other educational trips.
