Matthew B. Teasdale, MBA, CISA, CISM

Mr. Teasdale has been the IT Audit Manager since January 2007. He began his career in 1977 with the United States Air Force; he was assigned duties in New York, Virginia, Illinois, Texas, Azores Portugal and many Temporary assignments covering the globe. He retired with over 26 years in IT Operations, Management Training, and Inspection. Twice his IT operations were singled out as the “Best Managed Operations” within IT for the Air Force by the Inspector General. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Teasdale was a senior IT auditor at the Virginia Department of Taxation.

Mr. Teasdale obtained his Master of Business Administration degree and a B.A. in Technology Management from Saint Leo University, Flordia. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and has completed Parts I, II and IV of the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) exam. Mr. Teasdale also holds Special Experience Identifiers (SEI’s) from the Military in Cryptographic Management, Computer Security and Information Warfare.

 He is currently a member of the Association of College and University Auditors (ACUA); the College and University Auditors of Virginia (CUAV), Information Systems Audit and Control Association, (ISACA), and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
