F. Dale South, CISA, CIA, MBA
Mr. South has over 25 years of progressive hands-on information technology (IT), financial, operational, and financial internal audit and project management experience. In addition, he has broad-based management experience as a financial/operational audit manager, IT audit manager, and director of internal audit. His diverse experience includes COSO ERM based risk assessments, fraud investigations, quality assurance and improvement reviews, information technology audits, business continuity and disaster response planning, audit function implementation, financial audits, operational audits, and regulatory compliance reviews. Mr. South is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and former practicing Certified Public Accountant. Maintaining active status with several professional audit groups, Mr. South has served as the Secretary and Vice President of the local chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and is currently a board member of the Virginia Chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. He is also a past member of Toastmasters International. Mr. South received his B.S. degree in Finance from Virginia Tech and his MBA from Averett University. In addition, he did post-graduate work in accounting at Virginia Commonwealth University and earned his post-baccalaureate certificate in information systems from the University of Richmond. In addition, Mr. South is a graduate of the Virginia Executive Institute.
