Windows XP Daylight Savings Time Patch

Starting in the spring of 2007, daylight saving time (DST) start and end dates for the United States will transition to comply with the Energy Policy Act of 2005. DST dates in the United States will start three weeks earlier, at 2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in March. DST will end one week later, at 2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November.

Next click on the "Continue" Button to validate your copy of Microsoft Windows.

After your copy of Windows has been validated, click on the "Download" button. 

You will have the option to "Run",  "Save", or "Cancel" the download.  Choose "Run". 

If a security warning pops up at this point, choose "Run" again.

After the update is installed, you will be prompted to restart your computer system.

     *Note, if the error message "Update cannot be installed as a newer or same timezone update has already been installed on the system" pops up, click "OK".  Your system has already been updated, probably through Windows Automatic Updates.
