Duties and Responsibilities: Serves as matriculation administrator for all students seeking admission to the undergraduate teacher education program and subsequent admission to student teaching. Use and/or maintains specific databases for collection, tracking, and reporting data as appropriate to the position. Collects, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes data in preparation for generation reports for internal and external stakeholders. Monitors application processing, and ensures compliance with admissions guidelines and appropriate communication with applicants and faculty members. Chairs the admissions committee and coordinates the teacher education program admission processes. Provides information and advisement assistance to teacher education pre-candidates, candidates, and faculty. Tracks and monitors other academic activities relative to the Professional Education Programs Unit, and other academic areas at the University. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability using computer application programs. Master’s degree in education, counseling, or administration/leadership.
Compensation, inclusive of fringe benefits, will be commensurate with qualifications.
