The University Counseling Center strives to provide a holistic array of counseling services for Virginia State University students.
 

 
 

Eligibility: 

All currently enrolled VSU students are eligible for the entire range of counseling services. 

 

Fee for Services:  

Counseling services are free of charge to VSU students.  

 
 

Confidentiality:

The staff within the counseling center values the privacy of all clients and does not release information without the student’s written permission, except in cases of imminent danger to self or others, child/elderly abuse, court order, or otherwise required by law. Counseling records are not part of academic records and no one has access to them except the staff of the University Counseling Center.

APRIL:
University Counseling Center observes Sexual Assault Awareness Month

and Alcohol Awareness Month with the following activities:

 

A March Against Sexual Assault will be held on Wednesday, April 16th at

12:00 noon in front of Foster Hall.   All campus and community organizations

are welcome to join us. Please wear apparel from your respective organizations.

 

Alcohol Awareness and Screening will be held at the Health Fair in Jones Dining Hall on April 29th from

9:00 - 3:00 pm.
