The Lady Trojans and Trojans traveled to Raleigh, NC to compete in the 2004 CIAA Cross Country Championship at SAS Sports Complex.   Both teams finished in sixth place among the CIAA best endurance runners.  The Lady Trojans totaled 164 points and the Trojans added 163 points.

For the Lady Trojans Christina Ashe and Chateece Chappelle finished in the top 30 among 69 participants at the championship.  Ashe clocked in with a time of 24:24 and Chappelle was timed at 24:31 in the 5k run.  Altimase Thomas crossed the finish line at #31 with a time of 25:03, while Lashae Anthony was clocked in at 27:44 and Altinase Thomas came was timed 27:52.

The Trojans  were led by Anjewan Geter and Melvin Carter who finished respectively at #27 and #28.  Geter was timed at 30:45 and Carter crossed the tape at 30:46.  Ernest Bethel came in at #37 and Charleston McDougal came in at #39.   Bethel was timed at 32:57 and McDougal was clocked in at 34:01 among 69 participants at the championship. The men ran a 8k course at SAS Sports Complex.
