April 9, 2007Dear Alumni, Boosters and Friends of VSU: Virginia State University Trojans will host Virginia Union University this year for Homecoming 2007 on the beautiful campus of VSU on October 27, 2007. Kickoff time will be 1:00 p.m. The athletic department would like for you to enjoy the full effect of the homecoming activities and festivities. As I am sure you are aware, Tailgating is a premium during Homecoming and will continue to serve as a scholarship fundraiser for our student-athletes. Since athletics is in no way funded by the state, the athletic department must do all that we can to assist our student-athletes in gaining not only athletic success but academic success as well. Tailgating space is limited; therefore space will be issued on a first come, first served financial response basis. You may complete the Tailgating Form, download the application and forward it along with your payment to the Office of Development, Virginia State University, Box 9071, Petersburg, VA 23806.
