Orientation - 2008Welcome new Trojans to a New Beginning!! Congratulations on choosing Virginia State University. You will receive your New Student Guide in the mail with your acceptance letter. This Guide provides you with all of the necessary information and forms to start the enrollment process at Virginia State University. Please complete the forms in the section " Forms To Be Completed" and return them to the correct department along with the fees. PLEASE NOTE THE REVISED ADMISSIONS ACCEPTANCE FORM. Due to the number of students that will be attending in the Fall, we have increased the number of orientation dates. There will only be one day sessions and no overnight sessions. Please indicate your first (1) second (2) and third (3) choice of orientation sessions on your Revised Admissions Acceptance Form. Session I - June 7, 2008 (closed) Session II - June 14, 2008 Session III - June 16, 2008 Session IV - June 17, 2008 Session V - July 10, 2008 Session VI - July 11, 2008 Session VII - July 14, 2008 Session VIII - July 15, 2008
Orientation packets will be mailed beginning in May 2008. Orientation is designed to orient you and your parents to the campus. There will be eight orientation session held this summer. Things to remember: During New Student Week, August 11- August 17, 2008 the Math Placement exam is required and will be given Bring a #2 Pencil and a graphing calculator. A sample Math practice test is located at http://www.vsu.edu/pages/1711.asp.
