VSU's National Qualifiers

VSU's Andre Faulcon a native of New Jersey who now resides in Mechanicsville, VA has qualified in the 200 Meter Dash with a time 21.41at Maryland Eastern Shore University.  Faulcon who is two-time indoor All-American in 60 Meter Dash and Long Jump will attempt to duplicate this feet in outdoor track & field.

Faulcon completed a dream indoor and outdoor season by remaining undefeated in sprinting events in CIAA competition.  With that said, Andre solidifies the fact that he is the fastest student-athlete in the CIAA for 2004-2005.

The NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships will take place at Abilene Christian University which will feature the best in the nation.  Virginia State University will have two student-athletes representing the Trojans amongst the best.  Joe Williams will compete in the Long Jump and Andre Faulcon will compete the 200 Meter Dash.

Williams qualified at the Norfolk State University Relays with a jump of 24'2".  He is also a native New Jersey and was an indoor All-American in the Triple Jump this seasonWilliams a versatile jumper placed in the top three in the Long Jump, Triple Jump and High Jump during the indoor season.
