The Next Step- For Admitted Students

Congratulations on your admission to Virginia State University!  This area is designed to assist you in answering the question "What do I do next"? 

- Complete your FAFSA and and enter VSU's financial aid code 003764.

- Read your New Student Guide for 2008-2009 from cover to cover and share it with your parents.You must complete the forms in the Guide and return them to us.

- Review the Orientation Dates and decide when you will be attending.  

- Click on the Accepted Student Only Link and sign up for information that will assist you in your Roadtrip to VSU.

- Complete The Admissions Acceptance Form (The Trojan Challenge) which lets us know your intention. 

- Sign up to attend Senior Open House on April 19, 2008  www.ecampustours.com   

- Pay all of your initial fees (Enrollment, Orientation and Housing). These are out of pocket fees that cannot be waived.  Your schedule of classes cannot be made until these fees are paid.

- Visit us if you did not attend Senior Open House. Go to  www.ecampustours.com to schedule a tour. If you have questions call (800-871-7611) or email admiss@vsu.edu.  

- Take a copy of your admissions letter and the Final Transcript Request letter to your Guidance Counselor.  The Admissions Office must receive your transcript to complete your admissions process.  

- Complete the Housing and Food Service Application and don't forget to read your Residence Hall Housing and Food Service Agreement.  

-Sign up for your VSU email Account at www.vsu.edu/pages/3339.asp.

- Maintain your high school grades and have a great Senior year. 

- Take the Practice Examination for your Math Placement Test.  The test will be given during Orientation.

- Attend Orientation. You will review your  schedule, receive your VSU 1Card (ID Card), receive financial and student accounts  information.   

- Make an appointment with your Physican to complete your Health Evaluation Form.

- Prepare to move on campus in January 11, 2009. The Residence Halls Open at 8:00 A.M.
