VSU Library Commemorates Brown v. Board of Education with Web Exhibit
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education, Virginia State University’s Johnston Memorial Library has prepared an online exhibit of photos and documents exploring the history of African-American education in Prince Edward County, VA.
The first in a series of exhibits documenting the history of African-Americans in central Virginia, the Brown exhibit is geared to a wide audience including historians, researchers, school children, academicians and the general public.
