7th Annual DMC Conference

Virginia State University along with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) and the Department of Corrections are co-sponsoring an annual conference on Disproportionate Minority Contact (DMC) in the Criminal Justice System. The conference will be hosted at Virginia State University (VSU) on April 18, 2013.

The focus of the conference is re-entry as it relates to policies, practices, and services. Interested scholars, professionals, and students are invited to submit papers or presentations at the conference. Possible session topics can include areas of interest such as: Law Enforcement, The Courts, Sentencing and Sanctions, Social Services, Healthcare, Juveniles, Schools, Prevention, Re-entry, Housing and Homelessness, Class, Sex, and Race, and more.
