VSU Passport Day, Part II

Published date: January 15, 2013

If you missed PASSPORT day in November, you have one more chance to get that U.S. Passport for you and your family members once and for all right here at VSU!  The Dr. George H. Bennett Office for International Education in partnership with the Department of Student Activities will once again hold a VSU PASSPORT DAY on Thursday, January 24, from 10AM to 4PM, in Foster 210.  Agents from the US Passport Agency in Washington, D.C., have agreed to return to our campus to execute passport applications.

If you are traveling this summer and do not have a passport, please note that the agencies generally deal with a high volume of applications starting around March, and getting an appointment at a local processing agency gets difficult.

So make an appointment (preferably by January 22) and bring your documents.  Pass the word on to your co-workers, family members, and neighbors.  We will provide a one-stop application service for your convenience.  The next PASSPORT DAY will not be until October or November 2013.

Please complete the request for an appointment and return it today to Ms. Ronika Jarratt (rjarratt@vsu.edu), who will send you a confirmation with instructions on what to bring.

Happy traveling!!
