Trojan Explosion Hosts Marching Band Regional Championship

The Department of Music, Art and Design will be hosting the Trojan Classic High Stepping Marching Band Regional Championship on Sunday, October 28 at 4 p.m. at Rogers Stadium. This event will be a major recruiting tool for the University as nine high school bands have confirmed their attendance. This will be the first time VSU has hosted an event of this type. The following high school bands will be competing;
Booker T. Washington High School (Norfolk)
Charles City County High School
Greensville County High School
Henrico High School
Hopewell High School
Huguenot High School (Richmond)
Northwestern High School (Maryland)
Warren County High School (North Carolina)
Willingboro High School (New Jersey)
The event will culminate with an exhibition by the Trojan Explosion Marching Band.
