Work Areas

for

Long-Range Planning

In order to achieve the established goals for the University, the UPC identified eight different areas in which work would have to be done. These eight areas correspond to either major divisions of Virginia State or entities which broadly effect the whole Institution. These eight work areas form the basis for the Long-Range Plan and are as follows:

I. Academics

II. Student Affairs

III. Research

IV. Technology

V. Financial Affairs

VI. Facilities

VII. Development

VIII. Athletics & Office of the President

A Committee will be designated for each area with the assigned responsibility to develop the part of the long-range plan for that area.
