If you are a VSU student, below are some of the services we at The University College of Virginia State University can provide to help you reach your goals:
- Provide your academic advising (Any VSU student may seek their academic advising from the College, but for some students this is required, including most freshmen. Click here for more details.)
- Provide individual counsel to all freshmen, sophomores and transfer students (and upper classmen by request) on academic and personal matters
- Serve as liaisons between you and your academic departments
- Maintain your student records to ensure you graduate on time
- Maintain contact with parents in compliance with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act)
- Develop your Personal Student Academic Growth Plan
