With the exception of math courses, high school juniors and seniors are eligible to take our concurrent enrollment courses based solely on recommendations from their high school teachers and/or guidance counselors. High school juniors and seniors wishing to enroll in Mathematics 120 or Statistics 210 must also meet the following requirements:
- Must have completed high school Algebra II with a “B” or better, 50 or better on the PSAT, or 500 or better on the SAT.
- Must have a recommendation from their high school mathematics teacher. Placement test scores are not required.
High school sophomores are permitted to enroll in Mathematics 120 only, and they must also meet the above criteria.
Teachers must have an earned master’s degree, plus 18 graduate hours in the course discipline(s) they wish to teach.
