Dr. Ndip is an Associate Professor in the VSU Department of Chemistry and Physics with a Ph.D. (1994) from Texas A&M University (Organic Chemistry), an M.S. from Texas Tech University (Organic Chemistry), a BS from the University of Yaoundé-Cameroon (Chemistry, Honors), and a DESG from the University of Yaoundé-Cameroon Diploma (Science). Dr. Ndip was a POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW in the Boston School of Medicine, Boston, MA. Her current research interest is in the areas of natural product synthesis, and the synthesis and characterization of organic molecules for the rapid detection of common toxins with potential applications in biosensors. Dr. Ndip’s research combines organic synthetic methodology, computational chemistry, and molecular modeling (quantum mechanical and semi-empirical and molecular mechanics calculations), and spectroscopy.
